Day 67 - Cable or satellite TV?

I'm doing something a little different today, and I hope you won't mind. As I struggle along on this journey toward a second college graduation. I find it is more difficult for an older adult to adjust to being an unemployed grad student. One of the things I've been doing to combat the stress of financial matters is exploring the various ways other people are making money working from home.

One of the most interesting revenue sources I've come across has been affiliate marketing. But, there are so many scams out there. I decided to take it slow. I've been considering the DishTV network (satellite TV provider) for a few weeks, and I have now agreed to start my own website as a representative of this company.

Hopefully, people will soon be visiting my new site, clicking on a link or calling the 800 number and ordering DishTV installed via my connection. What do you think of this as a side business? Too much? Are you offended in any way? If this works, I would earn a small commission on each order made through the site. I'm going to give it a shot. It's a product I support. As a student of the media, I see that satellite TV represents an important change in delivery systems and it's a good one. I've also just completed a study on the way people use their DVRs to watch television and I think this is a good way for people to obtain the DVR set-up; also, I have been a customer of DishTV and liked it.

This is an excellent package for anyone looking to save money, or if you are just fed up with your cable provider, or if you made the digital switch and need a broadcast alternative. I hoped to find a company I believed in to represent, and I think this is it.

Please indulge this one (and only one) outrageously self-serving pitch for a product. Please note that all the offers on this new site are GOOD ones! Many other specials are also available. I hope you'll forward the site link to anyone you know interested in switching to a great satellite service.
